The Sony DT 16-105mm f/3.5-5.6(D) Autofocus Lens is a compact, wide-angle to telephoto zoom lens that gives you a wide range of zoom and still keeps sharp. The true millimeter on a full-frame would be 24-157mm. This lens is designed for the Sony Alpha and Minolta Digital SLR cameras.

This lens works well for sports, landscapes and its macro capabilities allow for decent close-ups. The lens uses Extra-low Dispersion glass to minimize chromatic abberation while producing crisp images with distinct color.
