It is only 3.9" in length and is equipped with an Inner Focusing system that will keep the length of the lens unchanged while controlling aberration. Except fish-eye lenses, this super-wide angle lens is one of the only lenses with a 12mm focal length that can be used with digital SLR cameras as well as with film SLR cameras.
