Leica M9 Rangefinder Digital Camera Body
Features
Notes: This rental is for the camera body only. A lens or SD memory card is not included. Also, we will make every attempt to have a fully charged battery for you, but we can't guarantee it 100%. If you ABSOLUTELY need a fully charged camera body, please request it via order notes. The Leica M9 is the world's first full-frame, 35mm digital rangefinder camera. Anybody that knows about the history of photography knows this camera. You can find these in museums while learning about the world's best photojournalists. The build is so strong that you can actually stand on this camera (don't actually do that to ours). The M9 is rugged and discrete. The shutter is incredibly quiet and you can fit this camera in your back pocket. It has a discreet mode that recocks the shutter only after your finger comes off the shutter. The controls are intuitive and the aperture is controlled on the lens. This camera features an 18 megapixel CCD sensor. The "M" stands for Messsucher which describes a combination of a viewfinder and rangefinder. The big bright viewfinder makes framing easy and precise even in dimly lit situations.
