Description
When the Nikon D3 full-frame (FX) body was released it completely blew peoples' minds, and now, over four years later, it's still an extremely capable camera body that barely shows its age at all. Of course, it has been replaced by the insane high ISO D3s DSLR but it's still a rapid-fire full-frame sports body with a host of awesome features. They include a supremely accurate 51-point auto-focus system, dual compact flash card slots, full weather proofing, the ability to shoot up to ISO 6400 with very little noise and 9 frames per second high-speed burst shooting. The icing on the cake is its excellent RGB metering system, wonderful ergonomics, long battery life and high-res 3" LCD.
