Product FeaturesThe all-new Nikon SB-700 speedlight is basically a "mini-me" version of the flagship SB-900. It is a bit smaller, has a few less features, costs less, and for a lot of people will be exactly the flash they are looking for, as many think the SB-900 is too big, with too many features. It shares the SB-900's ability to detect whether the attached lens is DX or FX and adjusts the light spread accordingly; it can shoot its beam from 24-120mm, and also lets you choose from three light distribution patterns: standard, center-weighted or even illumination. The SB-700's TTL system supports being used on the hotshoe, or wirelessly as a remote flash triggered by other speedlights or your camera's built-in flash.
