This lens is the 35mm equivalent 90mm to 400mm on a full frame camera. The lens is very compact and lightweight for its range, coming in at under 1 lb, but its 3 ED (extra-low dispersion) elements help it capture images that are clear corner to corner with minimal distortion throughout the zoom range.

The lens has Optical Image Stabilizing, allowing you to shoot at slower shutter speeds without blurring as much as the result of shaking/vibration when handholding the camera; something which is especially relevant when shooting at long focal lengths, where hand-movements are amplified.
