Description
The Mark II version of the popular 16-35mm f/2.8L improves on its predecessor with more sharpness at the edges and corners which is most evident on a full-frame camera. This ultra-wide zoom lens features three high-precision aspherical lens elements, and its improved AF algorithms help the lens to focus faster and quieter as well.

Jonathan: Loved this lens. We rented for use on a 7D to shoot a Halloween commercial. I also used it for some studio work while it was here. It's a really good match for the 7D's crop sensor but I wonder if the 17-55 might not be better for photography (I've not yet used it). That being said this lens shoots superb video.

Bingo: I used this lens for a family trip to Disneyworld. A great lens. I'm thinking of buying this lens in the near future. I highly recommend this lens.
