H: This is a great alternative to the 14mm Canon super wide if you are on a tighter budget. I will just list pros and cons of this lens from a still image perspective since I only used the lens for stills. PROS low price great image quality good build quality buttery smooth focus ring CONS manual focus manual aperture mustache distortion in photos (can be fixed with plugin) cannot put filter on A few notes: If you are going to rent this lens, make sure you have a live view camera to focus, its very hard to get focus spot on in the viewfinder. very long twist on focus ring from min to max, but it is a cinema lens so that is to be expected, I would recommend this lens to anyone because of its price for performance. Photos from the event I was shooting came out great. Its not an action lens by any means, but great if you have some time to manually focus.
