Description
The Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of advanced amateurs and professionals. A ten element optical formula with two UD-glass elements serves to correct residual aberrations, resulting in superb sharpness and high image quality. It is also able to obtain superior background blur with the f/2 wide aperture. This lens is great for shooting under low-light situations such as indoor sporting events or portraits where you want a blurred background. The EF 135mm f/2 L USM lens is also compatible with the 1.4x and 2x extenders while still maintaining the AF function.

Christopher: My absolute favorite lens in the canon lineup. The quickness of the auto focus, the sharpness of the photos, and the tank like build of this lens puts it at the top of the list for me. The one thing that really surprised me about this lens was how sharp it was all the way down to wide open at f/2, a lot of its competitors are the exact opposite. I use this lens mainly for portraits and low light situations where my 70-200 wont cut it, concert photography being one of them. Strap this guy on cropped sensor like a t2i or 7d and you got yourself a 216mm F/2 Prime and for the rental price and purchase price that is one great deal! Rent this and never go back, I guarantee it.
