How BorrowLenses.com Works

Step 1: Go to our website, browse our selection and locate the items you want to rent. Choose the duration of your rental, and whether or not you want insurance. From there you choose your shipping options (2-day or overnight) or local pickup in California, and tell us the date you need it.

Step 2: We ship the lens to you with a prepaid return label in the box, or you can pick it up at one of our California pickup locations. Your rental begins when the first delivery attempt is made so please be home!

Step 3: Use the gear for the duration of your rental period. We will email you the day before your gear is due to be returned. If you need an extension just email us or call us at 650-508-3370 and we'll be happy to see if we can extend your order.

Step 4: The day your rental is due to be returned you need to make sure its dropped off at your local Fed Ex/Kinkos by their "same-day" cutoff time. Any items brought to the store after this time will go out the next day, resulting in late fees. If you are dropping it off locally in California, just make sure it's dropped off by the end of the business day. Be sure to get a receipt no matter where or how you drop it off! Once we receive the gear we will inspect it for damage/problems, and if all is well we will send you an email letting you know your order is complete.
