Today’s Big News – A Letter From BorrowLenses Founders

BL News

Over 6 years ago we started out on a wild adventure to start renting camera gear online. Over the course of the years we’ve made every effort to put customers first and we’re incredibly grateful to you for your trust, support and loyalty. We’ve grown by leaps and bounds now offering thousands of products for rent, enabling everyone to get the most out of their photo and video shoots. It’s a far cry from our humble beginnings renting gear from our condo.

Humble beginnings for back in 2007

During our journey we’ve never lost sight of where we started, but along the way we’ve grown our idea into a service hundreds of thousands of people rely on. As word spread about our business we made every effort to hire great talent who are both dedicated to great customer service and deeply passionate about photography & videography. We consider this to be a major contributor to our success and has helped us get to where we are today. That said we would never have reached this point without you. We are incredibly grateful to every customer who has ever trusted us to provide gear rentals and take us on as a “silent partner” in your photographic journey and/or business.

Today we’ve announced that is now part of the Shutterfly, Inc family of brands. While the news is big we’re still the same loyal and devoted team you can rely on for your photo and video gear rental needs. The best is yet to come!

Thank you so very much.

  • Some of the gear that I rent is to test an item. The test could be for compatibility, new idea/s or a new application of old ideas. Regardless, thank you BL for being there, here and now, also, a lot more places. PLEASE, keep the fresh, the new and the young ideas coming. In doing so, you keep us old guys (more) youthful (feeling).
