We are proud to announce the Grand Prize winner and the Fan Favorite winner for our first Fan Photography Challenge. For the last seven weeks, a new theme was presented to our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram community and they were able to participate by submitting or voting on photos for a chance to win prizes. The top photos from each theme were included in our “Fan Favorite and Grand Prize Winner” Contest. Our guest judge, Rick Sammon, was asked to select a Grand Prize winner who walks away with a $1,000 gift card to use on BorrowLenses.com while the Fan Favorite, voted on by the BorrowLenses community, will receive a $500 gift card to use on BorrowLenses.com. We also want to thank our guest judge, Rick Sammon, who helped in selecting our Grand Prize winner. Rick Sammon, a Canon Explorer of Light, has published 36 paper books, including Secrets of HDR Photography, Exploring the Light, and Digital Photography Secrets. He also has a number of apps on the iTunes App store for photographers. Rick, who has photographed in over 100 countries around the world, gives more than two-dozen photography workshops (including private workshops) and presentations around the world each year. Rick co-founded the Digital Photography Experience with Juan Pons. DPE is on-line digital photography learning center that offers podcasts and articles and more.
